This course covers the theoretical basis for random graphs and general techniques to analyse random discrete structures.
Topics to include : Random graph models, First and Second Moment methods, Thresholds / Phase transitions, Analysis of Random Algorithms, Alterations, Lovász Local Lemma, Graphons / Graph limits, Correlation Inequalities, Janson Inequalities, Concentration of Measure, Non-concentration of Measure, Entropy methods.

Master's students may take as a special topics course in math or stats 1MA344 or 1MS051. This is a faculty wide course (link) students with a wide range of backgrounds are welcome.
